On the horizon...

Carpenters

The Carpenters has been a ministry of McKinney Church to singles in their 30s to mid-40s in Fort Worth and the Metroplex. The goal - to connect with and care for one another, and to be equipped for life and ministry that we might, in turn, equip others.

After July 15 McKinney's ministry to adult singles will be transitioning to a new format. There will be an ongoing mix of ways to connect with and serve with other like-minded single adults.

Beginning July 22, our Sunday night time will be temporarily replaced by a small group study on the book, "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper (see "Small Groups" for more details).

Then on August 5 we will begin a new Sunday morning class (9 am in room 216). There will be small groups and other on-going opportunities outside the class for learning and fellowship. This class will also have a healthy missions focus, partnering with and regularly serving local missions. Together we'll adopt a foreign missionary who we will get to know, pray for regularly and possibly even visit on a short-term mission trip.

We encourage you to check out the class sometime if you're a regular attender of McKinney Church or just looking for a good church home. You'll find McKinney at 4805 Arborlawn Drive, Fort Worth, 76109. For more information, please email crissy@mckinneychurch.com.

And coming in September, Second Sunday begins - an evening of worship, fellowship, and teaching in a whole new light.
